The advice to hire people you want to have a beer with is obviously bad, except that someone wrote a whole post about what a great idea it is.
I listed “W” as an example that many people consider a “bad hire” but would be fun to have a beer with. Beyond this example, I’m not really interested in a political discussion, since these discussions are fruitless. Political argument is truly sound and fury and no one is convinced of anything.
