There’s so much wrong with this post…

The Snapchat filter was found to be offensive by a large number of people, of many different backgrounds. This begs the question: how did a company come to create such an offensive piece of software?

Snapchat is famous for being founded by a bunch of brogrammers (who, by the way, almost always have penises).

Some speculated that they might have realized what a nasty and offensive piece of software this was if their company was composed of something other than brogrammers. For example, if they had Asian people on staff who felt comfortable speaking up, they might have pointed out that this is as offensive as blackface (apparently Snapchat also did a blackface filter).
