Thin Man has written that he believes that Brock Turner will rape again (or perhaps commit another violent crime). I think that Thin Man may be right.

Those tweets are disgusting. Brock Turner has clearly learned nothing. For someone who made it into Stanford he is remarkably stupid as well. He would be wise to shut the fuck up, regardless of what he thinks.

Who in their right mind would be sending out tweets like this while people carrying signs about castrating rapists are protesting on the sidewalk outside your house. I suppose the answer is someone who feels that they have done no wrong.

These are dark times that may lead to even more darkness.

Trump has surrounded himself with people from Breitbart, some of whom are infamous rape apologists. Brock Turner would fit right in with this crowd.

For a long time I’ve been a political junky, following politics closely. I think that I’m going to have to step away. It's becoming crushingly depressing.

I will, of course, vote. But I can’t keep looking into the abyss.

George W. Bush has been described as one of the worst Presidents in US history. Trump is so horrible he makes “W” look good. If my fellow citizens insist on electing a dramatically unqualified racist buffoon with fascist tendencies, there is not much I can do about it. If this happens we truly will have arrived at an idiocracy.
