I’m a Northern Californian. Years ago, I lived in San Diego for 11 years in a sort of exile. I’ve never liked Southern California and Los Angeles. I’ve thought of it as a soulless wasteland. Yet in your description, Anna, it seems beautiful and fascinating. There are many parts of LA that I’ve never seen, but I see them now through your eyes.
