A taste for erotic spanking has been referred to as “The English Vice”. The Victorians had a whole genre of fictional spanking erotica.

While the British may not have invented erotic spanking, they certainly perfected this obsession. So this law came as a great surprise.

The UK periodically has bouts of conservative madness. The strongest (worst) being The Iron Lady, Margaret Thatcher. I put this craziness down to yet another bout of conservative madness. My assumption is that this will pass. At some point a Liberal government will come to power and people will say “what were we thinking”.
