Why Fracking Needs to Change

As Americans all over the United Sates are learning more about fracking many are learning the truths behind it and what type of damage it really does to them and their communities. Fracking has become a popular way to extract oil and gas from the ground now that new and cheaper technology has become available. As many begin to learn more about fracking many were outraged that a process this destructive and harmful would be allowed to take place in communities in the United Sates.

When Fracking began to take off many were drawn in by the billions of dollars up for grabs. This amount of money caused many to look by the environmental and health impacts that fracking causes. But once fracking is completed small communities begin to feel the effects that fracking causes. Many communities experience drinking water pollution, excessive air pollution and exposure to deadly chemicals. Even though many saw these effects the vast amount of money being made caused politicians and communities turn their heads the other way.

With many Americans outraged many have stood up against fracking and are fighting for stricter regulations that companies must follow. Now that the effects of fracking have been show over and over again to be negative politicians have finally spoke up and started to place stricter regulations on fracking. Even though stricter regulations are being put into place the effects of fracking are still devastating to communities and the environments. In fact the state of New York along with many European countries have band fracking all together. Don’t you think it’s time for the rest of the United States to also stop fracking? In order to complete this task the people’s voices need to be heard by our leaders and together we can put an end to this destructive process before it’s too late.
