One recommended addition if you’re open to it — in Step 1) it would be useful to add a quick note for users that are deploying their own Flask application instead of your example one. If you’re using your own code, you need to make sure that the variable for the Flask instance (i.e. in a line like this:
application= Flask(__name__)) is
application, as AWS looks for this by default. This is particularly important because anyone following the Flask documentation will probably do it they way they did and call it
app instead, which fails with AWS’s default settings.
