ClexaCon in April and Other Conferences | Cuilverse: Shadow in the Mirror

Time for an update!!!

So, the good news: You may remember I was selected to present How to Write Cuil at ClexaCon in early April. I was able to raise enough funds to book a room for myself and my disability assistant person thing, lol.

But I still need to purchase my flight tickets (around $300 round trip currently) and will need funds for transportation around Las Vegas (around $200 or so). I was signed up to have an Exhibitor Booth ($250), but registration for that closes out on Monday. I doubt I’ll make that deadline.

Even still, I am certain that with just a bit more help I can actually make it to ClexaCon and to teach something absolutely fucking amazing to folks who have been hungering for possibility models and representation in media.

Besides, it’d be nice to have something exciting to do with all the health problems I’m facing right now. I need things like this. It was writing that kept me alive, after all.

Ah, which reminds me, I will also be presenting How to Write Cuil at NEQTPOC on March 23–24 in Boston. So if you’re in either town, come check me out!!!

If you want to support me and contribute to accessibility for my spoonie ass, you can always give directly to the PMW Speaker Fund, which would ensure that I don’t miss out on conferences that should lead to more paid opportunities (as well as allow me to provide workshops free of charge for multiply marginalized populations at the House of 12th or online or elsewhere).

I’ll be sure to let you all know how it goes!!!! Also, if you’re already subscribed to The Metanoiac Portal, then you already will have access to my presentations.
