Neither Radical nor Revolutionary: The Preservation of Privilege in Social Justice Activism
Laura LeMoon

It me! I have been impoverished all my life and homeless for the past few years. I have missed out on at least three conferences I was supposed to speak at — National Sex Ed Con, ConvergeCon, and NMCI in Austria because there is not enough effort to actually get me there. How can I “change so many lives” and have so many folks wanting to learn from me yet have so little to show for it?

Being broke is vastly different than being poor, but we are all locked out of opportunities. Yet these things claim to be accessible and inclusive. Bah!
