You are absolutely right when you say no one should have to put up with that shit. Yet, women do, everyday for years because they don’t want to risk losing their job. They don’t want to pay a lawyer $300 an hour and hope they win a lawsuit or get a settlement to recoup their losses, they don’t want to sit through depositions and be the subject of office gossip. They just want to do their jobs and not be harassed because they were born female. They resent that that they have to deal with what you so eloquently termed “that shit” (it is) at all.
