As a heavy user of the always-on ‘hey Siri’ on latest iPhone, this seems like the next step in capabilities — impressive. I’ve already seeing myself wishing for additional capabilities (such as start a function inside an app, e.g. ‘start recording my cycle on Strava’) so look forward to see this evolve.

From the hype that the Echo is getting, it’s also intriguing to see if this gets more usage as a dedicated voice interface over it being just one of a few input methods into a smartphone.

Looking forward to where Echo, Siri, Now and Cortana go in the next couple of years. And also very interested to see if it really enters the mainstream!
