Check out meteor ! I am also have been trying to become full-stack developer for while. I had a small background on web development by hacking wordpress themes and html5 things. But the day i discover meteor was amazing. With meteor you can write a app in JS and publish it in multiple platforms.

Currently I’m trying to build app with meteor + react. Which is promising future of dev. While I’m developing i try to do things in a react way. Because React Native is just amazing. It’s allows you write native apps by using javascript.
