Blockchain games studio ITAM Games is moving its entire portfolio to the WAX blockchain. This includes mobile role playing games like Dungeon Princess, Blue Dawn and Dark Town. The studio announced this after its first WAX-based game generated more users than the original version on the EOS blockchain.

Last week ITAM Games released its wild west economy simulation game Prospectors on the WAX blockchain. In its first game that game had over six thousand players, which is triple the amount of the version on the EOS blockchain.

ITAM Games is also working on a blockchain game store called ITAM Store. Here all digital assets will be collected and registered, while in-game achievements are recorded on the blockchain as well.

Benefits of WAX blockchain

WAX is based on the EOS blockchain, but is tailored for entertainment media purposes. Every user will get a wallet with some starting credit in it. As a result there’s no initial hassle with wallets, private keys and transactions. All they need is an e-mail and password or a login through popular social media.

They will automatically get a WAX Cloud Wallet that has sufficient tokens to play around a bit. Only when gamers invest more time in a blockchain game on WAX, they will come in touch with the underlying technology.

Through the ITAM Games website gamers can get beta access to the ITAM Store. Currently this store is only available on Android, but it’s coming to iOS as well.
