I wrote an article last week on this very subject. Having worked in film, and specifically, visual effects, the life of traveling for work is interesting, and difficult. But more importantly, the choice to be a “digital nomad” is a tough pill to swallow, since most digital content facilities, have moved to a contractor model, and have actually forced that lifestyle upon those of us that work in film and game development.
