Two filters at once

Not all Snapchat users are aware that they can use two filters on Snapchat at same time. You can use image filter along with one of the data label filters at same time. To apply both filters at same time you have to apply first filter on the snap and hold one finger on the display while use another finger to choose among the other filters.

Save Data by using Travel Mode

Only snapchatters will know how addictive this app can be. And once you get addicted to this app, your mobile data will get used up regularly. But you don’t need to worry; Snapchat includes Travel Mode that can reduce the mobile data usages by not loading any snaps automatically. When you enable this mode, you will have to tap on the snap to load it either its snap or story. By default this feature is disabled. And if you want to enable this feature you have to go to app’s settings -> manage (additional services) and enable the travel mode.

Add cool lenses to your Selfies

If you want to make your friend laugh or cheer up, if they are in bad mood or sad then these lenses can make your work easy. To apply these different lenses on your snap all you have to do is to just press and hold in center of the front facing camera viewfinder and you will see various lenses down below. You can choose among the various funny lenses and follow the instructions shown of the screen to take a hilarious photo or video. Rewind and Slow-mo Filters

When you take video on Snapchat, swipe across the various filters and you will find three icons showing snail, rabbit and a rewind button.

• Snail filter will turn your video into slow-mo video.
• Using rabbit filter will increase the playback speed of your video.
• And as you can assume by the name rewind filter reverses your video.

Tap to switch the Camera Mode

If you want to switch the camera you will need to double tap in the camera viewfinder to switch between the both the rear and front camera modes. This feature of Snapchat gives you shortcut to switch between them.

Reply to Stories

Snapchat have a feature named Your Story that allows you to add image to your profile which your friends can view for 24 hours. To add image to your story, all you will need is to press the plus icon after taking snap that is located on the lower left.

If you are viewing your friend’s story and want to tell something about a particular picture then swipe up from the bottom and type your message and press enter. Your friend will receive your message along with the picture.

Night Camera Mode

Many snapchatters are unaware of the night camera mode feature of Snapchat that let you to take brighter photos. The built in night camera mode is automatically activated in the poor lightening and dark. But if you want night camera mode to open forcefully then you will have to cover the camera lens. When night camera mode is activated you will see a half moon icon along the flash button.

Send Pictures from Gallery

Chatting with a friend and want to show them a picture that is in gallery..? Press the yellow button to open camera and press the icon beside the capture button in the viewfinder that will open your phone gallery and you can select the image. But you can send image from gallery when you are inside a chat, not directly from the home page.

Live Video Chat

If you want to video chat with your friend on Snapchat then you and your friend should be online at same time. You will see a blue button instead of yellow button that indicates that video chat is available. Both the person will need to hold the blue button to start the video chat and once you remove your finger from the blue button video call will end.

Friend Emojis

Add emojis next to your friends. This feature determines who is your best friend or mutual best friend etc. by seeing your snap frequency.
