PASSWORD protected
Yesterday’s dream indeed has been an eye opener for me. It made me realize the insecurity that inhabits us in the deep interiors.
Look around and one shall notice, everything is password protected, literally and metaphorically, with designated passwords to it.
I have been forced to maintain a diary that facilitates my memory with the innumerable passwords to the innumerable accounts and the variable dates on which these must be updated for protection from hacking on the web. It’s an absolutely unfair technology, that gives relief with the sense of security in a way, but has alter effects on our minds as well. Holding onto things and emotions gets very taxing beyond a point. However easy it may seem to be making our lives with due respect to the physical labor, its making us emotionally fragile and vulnerable. We are afraid of trusting anybody. We only feel secure if everything is locked in or password protected.
Preservation might be the key driver behind this behavior, but what about unanimity, or rather socialism. Not that the technology is to be blamed entirely, but the need of the hour is to keep a conscious check, ensuring that one doesn’t let the passwords become a way of life or Us.
