4 stages of any disease in any country

Here’s what it actually mean by different stages of transmission of any disease (could be pandemic, epidemic like coronavirus).

Stage 1 :

- When the disease is imported into the country.

- People can be tracked and their is no local communication of disease because the person has been diagnosed and quarantined.

Stage 2 :

- When the relatives of those people who came from outside has been diagnosed with the disease but it’s trackable by govt.

- Basically the source of transmission is know.

Stage 3 :

- Transmission on community level, there is no way to track the source of transmission.

- All People can’t be quarantined because we can’t track them any more.

- In India some states are in stage 2 and some are at stage 3

Stage 4 :

- The rate of transmission is way much greater than people getting treated and recovered.

- Thousands and millions of people are ill, the whole country feels helpless and the medical facilities surrenders, like it happened in China and Italy.
