Turbulent July

Today morning starts with a Starbucks’ Iced Latte, where I’m just trying to concentrate on my next move and suddenly hear a girl galloping high with her boyfriend, loud on her phone. Full of gossip, no clarity, so full of crap that I wanted to tell her, “Baby, be a little more focussed on having fun, in having a ‘Life’!!!”, but then, I shrug myself, I’m here for something else.

Sipping my coffee, I’m travelling fast on the route in my mind, this month has been full of surprises till now, starting from Ray’s understanding of Prakrati (Nature), to my training assignments, from Hyundai’s showroom to OPPO’s outlet, from an old friend, Aditya’s Spare part’s business to becoming a nutritionist, I am swinging fast and high.

2:30 pm — in between swinging highs and lows, I moved out of my office and straight away banged into a middle aged man, he seemed to be rushing to some place. I seated and drove away to pick up my son from school, and my brother calls me: Diiii!!! Did you hear about China’s preparedness in case of any escalation? This past month, military outfits have showcased no less than two major drills on the Tibetan plateau. The first announced on July 3, showed battle tanks being tested. Then, this past weekend, media showed videos of a major PLA exercise in Tibet involving livefire drills and anti-aircraft guns. The expectation is that there will be more muscle-flexing up to August 1. And he is right; all of it is in the news.

I told him to relax as our very own, Ms Sushma Swaraj, is taking actions and according to her we have enough support from other powers. Our dear neighbour China is good at making storylines, we all have read China exhibit a certain kind of behaviour in the South China Sea also, in water in that case, and slowly begins to change the status quo. So, it would not be terribly surprising if China was to do something similar in this case and it is troublesome.

However, India has also begun engaging foreign governments over the crisis; hope the matter to be resolve peacefully, war only brings losses to humanity… Anyhow, who knows, and with this, we ended our dreary conversation. We shall meet soon to discuss my hurly-burly too”… ta da….

5:30 pm — with my evening tea, I receive a call from my dear friend, as we live in Noida, she was hardly stopping to breathe while updating me about the mayhem created in one of the residential society by Bangladeshi maids. And soon enough, Mr Yogi has taken a few steps to handle land encroachments in the same area seems the matter is been handled there too.

Me, my country, is in heavy turbulence, time to be a turbo. A peaceful evening will help to resolve mine, but a peaceful heart, few wise brains and thoughtful communication only can resolve the tension on borders.
