Learning that matters to me the most: Code, Film, Active, Change, Grow.
How I see the world is somewhat as you do. But, there are experiences that matter to me the most, which some of you have really lived and grown up on. I am happy to re-live those. As a humble learner, what makes a difference are my self-learnings.
Skip these 7 points and I will tell you why:
- Be open to pros and cons
2. Speak about what you want to do
3. Start fighting with it
4. You will setup an end goal
5. Pray to God- Be thankful to the opportunities HE & SHE have given you and wish you can complete your end goal
6. Genuinely respect your family for teaching you the values you grew up for 19 years on.
7. Be transparent
The reason you skipped what I wrote, is because people can only tell you the pros and cons of a thing. They can only tell you that X > Y. But, you have to start doing X. When you do that, you will set end goals for yourself and you will want to do them with your learnings. What you will get will be those self-learnings that will help you grow.
It’s important to note that no one remembers all the learnings they had till the time they became successful. I spent years watching, following, closely analysing personal lives of successful people like Elon Musk, Sergey Brin, Bill Gates, even actors like Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan.
I spent millions of nights on YouTube watching their personal lives. I tried to copy the feeling they shared on interviews, but believe me I want to change. I am the boy who is differently shaped and I want to take shape independently.
It’s okay to spend time coding, to learn what I missed upon, which I am sure you all worked hard for when I was just addicted to successful people and their private ways of owning the world. I got zero of me, but 100 of the rest. I had tons of confusions- shall I be like this guy or that guy. No he is richer. No he is like this. What should I do? This is a fear that led to make inconsistent decisions for myself and that I am not doing what I am supposed to be doing.
Dared to dream those lives in the night so that some magic can happen. It’s like one day I wake up and I am them. I forgot that there can only be one CEO at Google, there can only be one Shah Rukh Khan and which is not you. I have to know that I am Nehul Yadav, a boy who wants to maximize his own learnings.
You cannot, or rather I cannot box their lives of 50 or more years into 10 stupid assumptions and do that to become them. It’s more important to pickup the core that is in you and die with it. Don’t think 5 years down the line, think 30 years from now on. One more thing, every child is special, and deserves a life of 100 years.
Thanks for your time. God Bless you.
