Nice article! Just one correction:
When you said:
“React Native compiles your code to native code for the respective OS, either Android or iOS.” 
That’s not true. RN apps runs some code on native thread (Switch/Objective-C on iOS or Java on Android and you can add code for each platform on those languages) and some on JS thread. JS thread uses JavaScriptCode as engine ( but stills run JS, never compile it to native code (in fact it does on runtime like browsers do, not on compile time). So, yes, it’s a hybrid app.
