Around early 2019 I published my first blog about women in technology I admired.

After over a year meeting many other women in tech and learning their stories, it was time I felt to write another blog. It is no secret that women have become very strong leaders within the technology industry, many who occupy executive positions and leadership positions in some of the worlds very best tech companies, and bring to these roles creativity, passion, leadership, empathy and innovation.

When we think about diversity and inclusion which is a hot topic these days, I can only vision that every person regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, who is able to get the opportunity to contribute to any industry will be able to add unique value to it, and this is highlighted very well in this blog I am posting today about this amazing group of female entrepreneurs and leaders. …


Last week in San Francisco between November 13th and 14th was the Sports Innovation Network 2nd annual immersive technology summit.

The event showcased the latest innovations from some cutting edge companies in the space of traditional sport, e-sport and fantasy sport using technologies such as Augmented and Virtual Reality, as well as social and big data management platforms.

The event was co-sponsored by Verizon 5G among a host of other lucrative presenters and sponsors from companies such as Intel, Microsoft just to name a few.

A number of sports franchises appeared at the conference to investigate some of the emerging technologies that were changing ‘the game’ or the way fans engage with sports entertainment. …

While Apple and Samsung among other manufacturers deliver keynotes year upon year about how amazing their mobile technology is, the burden to sell this new hardware every 12 months is an increasing challenge for the wireless retail industry.

For large players such as Verizon and AT&T their primary focus is to build the infrastructure, since that is what facilitates access to services that have value. Both Verizon and AT&T are also looking at how to create value using cutting edge technologies such as Augmented Reality over 5G networks. …
