For me, context counts for so much when implementing change! People tend to accept or reject change based on whether they understand the arising need for it. It’s why I’m a huge fan of injecting transparency into decision making processes.

Perhaps change has always been important, but in recent years it feels like it’s become a defining theme of work. My job is largely technology based, but I reckon at least 50% of large scale projects are about communicating change and understanding culture that might be resisting it.
