I really value this time, however, I’ve been thinking of a way in which officers can incrementally improve services using knowledge from across departments (sometimes you need to be “outside” looking in to spot the obvious and also understand how your team might affect another).

I’ve been thinking about this too! From the aspect of “How do we share good practice, learning and connect the dots across the organisation?”.

I’m experimenting with lunchtime sessions that are sort of unconference-lite. First one is next week, will report back shortly thereafter.

On a related note, our housing team are experimenting with Padlet to share within the how everyone is feeling, what are the highlight and lowlights of the week etc. This is all displayed on a monitor mounted on a wall, so passers by can have a nose too.
