Moving Forward

Here’s a question for your mind to ponder while reading; Can you remember your first heartbreak? How has your life changed since then?

The last blog post I typed was all about heartbreak, my whole life was turned upside down. Today, August 27th, is the first day I felt okay since then; today is the day I move forward.

Now, maybe for you feeling just okay isn’t a big accomplish and you’re probably thinking to yourself “what’s the fuss?” Well, for me, feeling just okay is a miracle; taking that first step of recovery is the most amazing feeling.

I’m not saying I’m better and my heart is connected once again. I’m not saying heartbreak is an easy fix and that it only takes one miraculous night to fix all the wrongs. I’m saying; one step moving forward can be the most incredible thing you can do for yourself.

One step to recovery. One step to feeling just okay to feeling great. One step at a time. It takes baby steps, maybe the first step is deleting pictures or contacts. Maybe it’s seeking help, it’s okay to ask for help; I don’t expect you to do this alone. People need people, even when it hurts. Just know, good things takes time, you will be okay once again.
