Not long ago, I began journaling as a personal exercise. This entry was originally going to be a bulleted list of the most important subjects I think demand our attention in the year ahead. An attempt for me to articulate my opinions and maybe challenge them along the way. I’d been thinking about writing it for some time. One month with Apple Watch

I wrote this while sitting in JFK, waiting for a flight to Boston. Over the course of the hour or so it took me to finish the review, two people — no joke— came up to me and asked, “Is that the Apple Watch?”, “How do you like it?”. Clearly Apple’s latest creation still possesses that gotta-have-it factor.

My top and bottom 3 of the year

2013 was a hell of a year for movies. Right on the heels of last year’s Oscar contenders—Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, Lincoln, to name a few—came a fresh crop of great titles that kept on coming right through December. Sure, there were plenty of sequels—even a “Part 6" in one case—and some not so great reboots, but all-in-all, it was a great year to treat yourself to a night at the theater.
