Deadline for filing the annual tax return in America is around the corner — April 15th

The idea of Tax Relief on Overtime Work(TROW) is a great concept that if implemented, will increase take-home pay for working families & entrepreneurs while encouraging productivity and hard work.

i.e: Zero taxes on overtime worked

For the purposes of TROW policy program, ’overtime’ should be hours > 35 hours per week.

For example, if I make $10/hour and I worked 60 hours this week, then I shouldn’t be taxed under the TROW program on the extra 25 hours worked — i.e: I take home my whole overtime earned pay amount of $250.

TROW program will benefit millions of working families and entrepreneurs who often work way more than 60 hours per week.

For salaried positions, employees can claim extra time work as a tax credit at the end of the year.

Thanks to Mike Rosa( https://twitter.com/calrican) for chatting about this idea on Twitter and bringing my attention to it.

I will be exploring further how this idea may become an implementable tax relief policy for millions of working American families and entrepreneurs at least at the state level in Oregon.

I’m running for Congress and TROW is one of the policy ideas that I will be advocating for and working to make it a reality if Oregonians send me to U.S Congress.
