NEM Africa was invited to attend several events under the Kenyan Government’s initiative to enhance Manufacturing, Food security and Nutrition, Universal Healthcare and Affordable Housing.
The annual Connected Kenya Summit is a platform that brought over 500 ICT thought leaders and experts under one roof.
Under the theme Preserving our Heritage, Pioneering Technology, a great deal of earnest discussion happened under Connected Kenya Summit and the Kenyan Government announced it will be using Blockchain to allocate affordable housing to impoverished communities
There was also the Launch of HudumaWhiteBox, an innovation submission portal developed by Presidential Digital Talent Programe developers. WhiteBox aims to help refine business ideas, help entrepreneurs understand the market, connect them with mentors and expertise and help grow their business.
The Government will support the WhiteBox Program by promoting the use of local products and innovations thus offering a ready market for innovators.
It was a productive month for NEM Africa and we believe that we are perfectly placed to propagate the NEM blockchain and its offering to both government and corporate entities. We look forward to creating further meaningful connections and generating strong partnerships in the blockchain sphere.
