As I said in the article, none of the companies even knew I mentioned them prior to publishing the article and there is no affiliate / commission setup for that. I have a $4M company that is enough to float my boat.😛
As for the free vs paid part; as I said in the article what I like is that you’re merging the process documentation with the actual act of performing the process itself. If you’re a one man show then yeah by all means use a notepad, but when you’re running an enterprise company you need a better way to ensure consistency across your entire company. That’s where SOP-like software comes into play.
