Version 1.7.8 Update to Native is out now

It’s been a while since we’ve released update to Native Studio. Franky, we’ve been pretty busy with custom integration projects for the whole summer. Most of the Native Studio’s recent development work has been targeted to plugin API, Custom Plugins and fixing bunch of minor but pesky bugs.

We’ve been working together with enterprise grade MBaaS provider and will announce big news later this year.

Whats new in Native Studio 1.7.8

  • iPhone X support
  • New plugin editor (edit plugin code directly inside the Studio)
  • Hover previews for project map nodes
  • Updated Default screen size (Base format) to iPhone 6–8
  • Lots of minor bug fixes
  • 3d view (find the “3d” button from bottom left of the design canvas)

Update should come up automatically when you open the app. If you haven’t installed the app download it from here and start your 14 day trial.

iPhone X support

iPhone X screen size is now added to Studio

iPhone X is coming soon and Neonto’s Native Studio is now updated to support new screen size. You’ll find new preview from Device previews list. Note that we’ve also changed the base format size from iPhone 5s to iPhone 6–8.

Plugin editor view

Great news for plugin developers! You can edit and reload plugins directly from Studio. Just open up the Plugin Manager from Plugins menu and select plugin and click Edit button.

1. Open Plugin Manager from Plugins menu.
2. Select plugin from Plugin list in Plugin Manager
3. Edit and Save plugin code directly in the editor. Edits are automatically reloaded when you click Save. If you edit plugin with External editor then click “Load external changes” button from the bottom left.

Hover previews

Hover previews are shown for visual blocks in Project map. You may disable/enable this feature from the top of of the project map. Note that there’s a new “Clean” button which rearranges messy project map automatically.
