NETFLIX: EVERYTHING ARRIVING AND LEAVING IN MAY

In an attempt to make up a bigger library of original content, there are fewer films on Free Netflix than ever before as the main focus is on television series. This can easily be seen just by having a look at the list of new titles headed to the streaming platform in May.
The biggest addition this month is the Jack Black starring Goosebumps. Based on the series of young adult novels from R.L. Stine, Goosebumps follows a couple of teenagers who are tasked with destroying a group of monsters created by a reclusive author that take over their suburban neighborhood. This film is more comedic than anything else although it is based on meant-to-be-scary books.
There are a couple of new television series and seasons headed to Netflix next month. These are for those who are least interested in the Jack Black affair. The newest Netflix Free Original series to arrive on the platform is Marseille and stars have acclaimed French actor Gerard Depardieu. The show, available only in French follows the former mayor of Marseille as he enters a political war with his former protege. Think the French television version of The Ides of March.
The second season of Bloodline, starring Kyle Chandler and Ben Mendelsohn is also hitting the Netflix. The show follows an estranged family as they’re brought back together for the first time in years following the return of their long lost brother. Similar to any family oriented drama, secrets will be revealed and backs stabbed as information about their relationships come to light.
Sadly, the ushering in of new movies and series every month means that other titles have to leave the service. In May, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Blade Runner and Clerks are just a couple of the movies that will no longer be available to stream.
