The more complexity you add to the ecosystem around blockchain, the more surface area there is for the attack. Ethereum is “so much more powerful than bitcoin/litecoin”, but who cares if the surface area, governance risk, and the number of parties who could introduce weaknesses into the supply chain are too great?
