A discussion about the breaking of the Internet

It sure seems like you’re being disingenuous here. Explain to the global community how you came up on the “Kik” name?

It doesn’t even look like Kik messenger existed before November 2010 (based on Google trends and whois/domain history records) and that Kik didn’t even do a domain transfer to use ‘Kik.com’ as a domain name until 2013.

This being said, Google trends indicates that “kik npm” was a package in November of 2012. So, I’m going to give credit here to the NPM package.

The USPTO registered “word mark” was March 7th 2016, effective as of September 2015

This sounds like “We registered a trademark, we didn’t do our due diligance, tried to get the maintainer to come to our viewpoint, but then when he wouldn’t give in and called us on our game, we went around them to save face.”

Correct me if I’m wrong.
