How do I connect to a VPN?
VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a technology that protects data while using the Internet. In particular, such services help to circumvent network restrictions or errors in different countries.
List of trusted VPN services (paid and free):
1. Lantern — getlantern.org/ru_RU/index.html. A service created to bypass blocking — it gives 500MB of traffic for free (then you need to purchase Pro).
2. Psiphon — psiphon3.com/ru/index.html. It has proven itself well in case of blocking in Belarus. In the free version, it gives a very limited bandwidth (not suitable for watching videos).
3. Tachyon VPN — tachyon.eco. Service for the organization of “stable Internet connection” from South Korea. No Russian language support =(
4. NewNode VPN — a free blocking bypass tool (works by analogy with torrents). Only versions for iOS and Android are available.
5. Intra — getintra.org. A free service developed with the participation of Google that can help with blocking.
6. TunnelBear — tunnelbear.com. Gives 0.5 GB of traffic for free.
7. FreeVPN.org — freevpnapp.org is a free service with applications for Apple and Android.
8. Xeovo — xeovo.com. We recommend using WireGuard as a client. It costs 3 euros a month if you pay a year in advance.
