Shakti Kapoor, whose real name is Sunil Sikandarlal Kapoor, was born on September 3, 1952, in Delhi, the capital of India, to his parents.

He did his schooling from 3 different schools Holy Child Senior Secondary School, Delhi, The Frank Anthony Public School, New Delhi, and Salwan Public School, New Delhi. He was expelled from school because of his aggressive attitude.

He completed his college studies at Kirori Mal College, Delhi FTII (Film and Television Institute of India), Pune and obtained a commerce degree.

Since childhood, he has been attracted to Hindi cinema and dreamed of becoming a big actor.

There was often a tussle between his father and him when Shakti used to show his father the dream of living a luxurious life.

To make his dream come true, he moved to Mumbai and after going through many struggles, he got success.
