He did his schooling in his home town and attended a Pre-University Course (PUC). After completing his schooling he did his graduation from Dantuluri Narayana Raju College. He further studied and completed his master’s in Arts from Andhra University.

He developed a love for acting when he was in elementary school where he won numerous awards for the same.

After he completed his Masters in Arts he started working as a lecturer and used to make others laugh with his unique acting talent.

While working as a lecturer he honed his acting skills by participating in theatres as a mimicry artist. His acting talent was noticed by a playwriter Adi Vishnu who introduced him to NCV Sashidhar of Doordarshan(DD).
