This has been a bit crazy for me personally. I joined the “new” team, excited to build some great stuff with them. As I mentioned last week, I am still on track to master testing and focusing on writing on unit testing and software testing in general. More to come.

In JavaScript world there are few things happened. Facebook announced the license change, Zeit had their conference in Berlin with few announcements.

1. Relicensing React, Jest, Flow, and Immutable.js

Facebook changed the licensing for few open source projects, which makes a huge difference. It’s been a center of some controversial discussions. People were debating whether they should use React at all. Now, no more patents.

2. Here’s a new way to learn coding tools and concepts right when you need them

I’m a fan of FreeCodeCamp. They just announced their guide to help people with their learning paths.

4. Apollo Mission Briefings YouTube Channel

5. Accelerate Application Modernization with Node.js

Modernizing applications is a huge goal for many enterprises, and one of the key reasons that Node.js is growing so quickly.

6. How to write reliable browser tests using Selenium and Node.js

Great resource to learn software testing. Tests can be automated (especially end-to-end tests). Selenium is popular software testing framework.

Tweet of the week (I can relate ;)
