Medium’s editors, who, from what I’ve seen, have a very, very strong political bias in favor of identity politics, have recommended his aggressive rant to readers. I don’t find that acceptable. That’s why I spoke up. As an article of mine that came out in The Federalist yesterday suggests, I see speaking out against this kind of attack as something of a moral duty and wish more people followed suit.
You’re entitled to have a different interpretation, of course, but to the extent you’re suggesting…

It is a moral duty.

I used to think a person could sit on the sidelines because a person saying ignorant, illogical things would surely be identified as such. I thought it would make it easier to identify ignorant people and thus make it easier in approach when dealing with them.

I was wrong.

Sitting on the sidelines only lets it fester. I thought intelligent people would recognize the ignorant, illogical points of view as filth, but I suppose if something isn’t questioned, it tends to be accepted and social acceptance leads to intellectual acceptance. They should not be mutually exclusive.

Sitting back and saying nothing only allows other week-minded individuals to join in and resonate that brown noise. It’s a distraction that amplifies and separates from source — there may have been a case where a person was actually the subject of racism, but that legitimate case becomes diluted and overshadowed by the flood of other false cases where it was proven that racism was not involved.

Like the cocaine drug transports of the 80’s, it’s hard to fight something at the inconsequential end points, the way to stop something is at its source. Speaking against ignorance before others join in is the best way. Educating these ignorant individuals before they have an opportunity to use their persuasive voices is essential.

Medium and other media outlets (mostly liberal media, but also includes conservative media), push their agenda — in this case it’s a liberal agenda. This non-sense is divisive and only keeps people fixated on social issues, not systemic issues, or government-controlled issues.

A person that believes this ignorance may be well-intentioned, but those individuals are merely pawns that are leading the charge for a narrative that was set in play before they ever arrived.

Thank you for speaking up. The first step is speaking up. The next step is refining the approach into something that is less confrontational and better received — what I’m presently working on.
