Tests are way to determine a person’s academic abilities. That measurement reveals a metric that is used to gain entrance into an institution.

You don’t think it’s a demonstration of privilege if a certain ethnicity is bumped up 230pts, or deducted 50pts? You don’t think that there’s an issue when Asians have to do better than their black competitors by 280pts?

Please tell me how this is objective, how this is not an example of privilege. I’m curious to know how we can look past race if it’s used as an entrance criteria to academia — the foundation of our professional industries.
