Amar Mahal Palace, Jammu, India

Amar Mahal Place is located in Jammu, India, this palace was built in 1890. It is a legacy of the Dogra dynasty of Jammu and Kashmir and was built by Raja Amar Singh of the Dogra dynasty. This fort was designed by a French architect. Earlier the entire family of Raja Amar Singh lived in this palace, later it was changed into a museum. It was one of the most beautiful buildings in Jammu and Kashmir built in the 19th century. On one side of this palace is the Twi River and on the other side, there are huge Trikuta hills. Mata Vaishnav Devi’s Dham is also there on the Trikuta hills. This palace is built with red sandstone stones and bricks, it has been built in French architecture.

Amar Mahal Palace, Jammu & Kashmir, India

The Amar Palace was a residential personal palace for Raja Amar Singh and his family, but it was later converted into Museum. There are many antique items and craftsmanship and objects of the time of Dogra kings to see here. There are many beautiful artifacts here, especially many arts of Kangra-style paintings available. These pictures and crafts are amazing in themselves.
