My freshman year I “honey badgered,” my hair, which is to say, I bleached the middle 1/3 of it while leaving the sides black (this backstory is building to something, I promise). Because, hey, you know, I’m an 18 year old kid, away from home for the first time in my life, and its not like I’m gonna drink or do drugs, so sure, doing this silly thing is my own way of rebelling.
