1. Ponytails

A ponytail is a type of hairstyle where the hair is gathered at the top of the head and then twisted around the base of the head. There are many different types of ponytails including the French braid, Dutch braid, and fishtail braid.

2. Fishtail Braid

The fishtail braid is a popular hairstyle that involves twisting the hair into a spiral shape. To create the fishtail braid, start by parting the hair down the middle. Then, take each section of hair and twist them together until they meet in the center. Once you reach the end, continue to twist the hair back towards the beginning, making sure to keep the ends loose.

3. Dutch Braid

The Dutch braid is similar to the fishtail braid except instead of starting with a single strand of hair, the Dutch braid starts with two strands of hair. Take both sections of hair and cross them over each other. Continue crossing the hair over and under until you have created a tight coil. You should now have four strands of hair. Twist the first three strands clockwise while keeping the fourth strand counter-clockwise. Repeat this step until you reach the end of the hair.

4. French Braid

The French braid is a classic hairstyle that dates back hundreds of years. Start by taking a small section of hair and pulling it forward. Next, wrap the hair around the finger and pull it outwards. When you get to the end of the hair, repeat the same steps. You should now have a long piece of hair wrapped around your finger. Now, take the opposite side of the hair and repeat the same steps. Continue repeating these steps until you reach the end.

5. Side Parting

To achieve a side parting, simply take a small section of hair from the front of the head and separate it from the rest of the hair. Then, take the remaining hair and divide it into two equal parts. One half of the hair goes behind the ear and the other half stays in front of the ear.

6. Top Knot

To achieve a top knot, simply take a small portion of hair from the top of the head. Divide the hair into two equal parts. Wrap one-half of the hair around the index finger and thumb of the left hand. Bring the right hand over the left and place the index finger and thumb on the opposite side of the head. Hold the hair in place and gently pull the hair upwards.

7. Pompadour

A pompadour is a hairstyle that resembles a mane. To achieve a pompadour, simply take a small amount of hair and begin curling it upward. Once you reach the desired length, smooth the hair flat with your fingers.
