I used to be a big fan of CloudMagic, until the whole Newton $10/month can of worms open that is. Don’t get me wrong I love the app design and functionality but am I sad to see Newton go? Not one bit, because seriously I can see it coming 10 miles away. As a CEO I think you fail miserably and let you team down if you expect people to pay that much monthly just to read email. I mean that’s like if CEO of Mcdonald goes something like “Okay, let’s charge people $50 a big mac because everything cost more nowadays and we need to have profit, I’m sure people don’t mind paying up, I mean people got to eat right?”
