My First Medium Post

The Irony of Hatching Twitter

A relatively small amount of people understand what happens inside the boardrooms of large corporations and even fewer know what its like inside a fast growing start-up. Add a little mid-2000 social media fuel to the equation and some really interesting stories emerge.

My inspiration for this post is the book Hatching Twitter, by Nick Bilton. The story is moving, shocking, and sometimes hard to swallow (not whether it happened or not, but that it happened).

After finishing the story, I felt compelled to dig around and fairly quickly found some articles on Obvious Corporation, which actually led me back to Medium. I was happy to see my reminder that I am now able to write my first post (and here it is).

To those that are changing the world and giving us better tools along the way — Thank You. It would be awesome to find a way that does not break hearts and souls along the way and for those pushing the next frontier of change — please read this book.
