This address will be broadcast in Hindi on all national networks of All India Radio (AIR) and all channels of Doordarshan from 7 pm onwards. After that it will be broadcast in English. After the telecast of the address in Hindi and English, it will be telecast in regional languages ​​by regional channels of Doordarshan, the release said. The release said that All India Radio will broadcast it in the regional language from 9.30 pm on their respective regional networks.

State broadcaster Doordarshan will broadcast every activity of the Republic Day parade live with the help of 59 cameras. Special arrangements have also been made to showcase the new facets of fly-pasts along with live telecast of various feats of the IAF’s huge fleet of 75 aircraft. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said in a statement on Monday that Doordarshan has installed cameras at the dome of the National Stadium, National War Memorial, India Gate and several other important places between Rashtrapati Bhavan for live telecast of Republic Day celebrations. Two ‘360 degree cameras’ have been installed to give a bird’s eye view of the entire event. One of these cameras is installed on the Rajpath and the other at the top of India Gate.

The views from both the 360-degree cameras will be continuously ‘live-streamed’ through two separate streams on the DD National YouTube channel, the statement said. The Republic Day celebrations will be telecast live on all Doordarshan channels across the country starting from 9.15 am on 26 January till the end of the programs at Rajpath. This live telecast will also be available on DD National, DD News YouTube channels and News on AIR app and website. In order to ensure inclusive coverage, DD News will also telecast Aankhon Dekha Hall (commentary) in sign language, the ministry said. The ministry said, now that India is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi as a celebration of its 75th year of independence, this year’s Republic Day telecast by Doordarshan will not only be on a larger scale, but will also be equipped with unique features. More than 160 personnel have been deployed for coverage of Republic Day celebrations this year.
