FB Live boosts confidence
One of the funny things about doing a Facebook live is worrying more about what people online would think, rather than thinking about people who are watching me in person.
Oddly, I became more confident doing crazy and unusual things, knowing that I have a camera pointing at me. This gives people the impression that I am doing these things for a certain purpose — an online video.
For my FaceBook Live’s content, I did not make a formula on what to do. I just thought that my friends and I should do something that would make us appear natural and comfortable in front of the camera. Also, I put in mind that the video should be interesting.
That is why I thought of riding a few amusement rides with my friends while asking them questions.
Pros:
- It was really funny and my viewers loved it.
- It eased my guests’ nervousness which made them comfortable, despite people watching them on and off the screen.
- We did not realize the time because we were having so much fun.
Cons:
- My guy friend promised to never go to the Pirate Ride ever again.
- There were a lot of chin and neck shots because we were in constant motion due to the rides.
- Instead of asking questions and officiating the games I thought of, I ended up laughing at my friends because they have lost themselves due to the rides.
Overall, I thought that doing FaceBook Live was a really fun activity. It gave me the opportunity to have fun while doing a school assignment. Also, it made me think that I should do talking vlogs more often. Back then, I would be embarrassed talking in front of a camera, especially in public. However, after watching myself in my live video, it was the opposite.
Indeed, FaceBook Live boosts confidence, especially in my case.
