OET (Occupational English Test) is designed to meet the specific English Language requirements of the Health Care Sector. Healthcare organisations and regulators choose OET because it helps them to select healthcare professionals with the right level of English proficiency to deliver safe and high quality care.

The Test also measures the language ability of health professionals for their registration and the ability to practice in an English-speaking country.

OET Test Results will contain one of the five grades i.e A, B, C, D and E where A is the Highest and E the lowest.

The test results with grade will contain a detailed descriptions for each grade.

Grade A : Very high level of performance

Grade B : High level of performance(able to use English with fluency and accuracy adequate for professional needs)

Grade C : Good level of performance; however, not acceptable to a range of health and medical councils

Grade D : Moderate level of performance: requires improvement

Grade E : Low level of performance: requires considerable improvement

There is no overall grade; candidates receive a separate grade for each sub-test they take.
