Nexa: Seamless scalability, endless opportunities.

Tokenize

Tokenize has been making good progress. We are now working on the core token technology which is being added into the NexCore library. This is key, because it means that not only will this software then be ready to be added to the Otoplo wallets, but it will also be available to anyone to build Nexa token tech into their products and services. There will be a slightly delay as our developer is having to take a little time out (perhaps a week or two) due to unforeseen circumstances.

NexScript

NexScript is also making good progress. We are still aiming to release the first version in July. The final work currently happening on it is to complete the SDK. Once it is released, the initial version will already enable developers to build incredibly interesting DeFi and token functionality. Future versions of the software will unlock even more of the potential in Nexa smart-contracts.

Mobile Wallets

Otoplo release a few small updates to the Otoplo wallets including some minor bug fixes. Otoplo will return it’s focus to core wallet features once Tokenize has been shipped. Work on Wally wallet continues with a focus on integrating the powerful features exclusive to Nexa including native tokens and the delegated payment protocol.

Developer Documentation

My personal focus outside of project management has been to develop an industry-leading set of developer documentation. The goal of this documentation is to significantly lower the barriers to developers and businesses building technology on Nexa, especially more innovative software. To achieve this I have been creating a visual language and graphics system for conveying the technology inside Nexa in a way that can be understood more intuitively (deep crypto tech is tricky!).

Marketing

We are due to implement the pilot Pay per Tweet program. Which means that we will incentivize every user with a reasonable account that tweets about Nexa. We will set a hardcap of 250M Nexa per month (initially 1 month pilot) on incentives and will provide handful limitations to avoid spamming / bot usage.

Moreover we’ve closed the hiring process for Moderators, Content Writer and Graph designer. You can expect real soon new graphics and extraordinary content about our features and blockchain.

We’ve conducted 2 AMA’s in local communities, where we’ve gained some new users from, and we are continuing to explore this in other communities. Also we have conducted an AMA regarding the latest Smart Contract article made by Paul / Otoplo. We’ve had Otoplo’s founder Paul and lead developer on call alongside Bitcoin Unlimited’s lead developer Andrew, together with myself, Martin.

We’ve are also close to seal new partnerships for which we are going to perform co-marketing activities in sense of AMA’s, Twitter programs and similar. One of these partnerships is extremely exciting as it will allow our users to earn Nexa by playing games on Web3.

UltraScale Testnet

A new developer has been found to take on the project to finish writing the verilog code for and building the FPGA transaction accelerator. This hardware we aim to enable a node to process the script in transactions at over 100,000 TPS. This is a key component of building the UltraScale testnet and show that Nexa full nodes can handle global capacity. An outline project specification has been developed and a kick off meeting for the project will happen soon.

Partnerships

We are currently working on a number of exciting partnerships with other great projects in the industry, but are not quite at the point for announcing anything yet. As soon as we have locked agreements down and a ready to push out the good news, you guys will hear about it.
