That is because tech provides excellent chances for professional advancement, attractive salary prospects (this has to be the major reason or is it just me?), and the possibility of contributing to cutting-edge projects that have the potential to change the course of human history (we already heard about how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is shaking the tech space and now, everyone is curious about AI).

Learning a digital skill is one thing, getting hired is another thing which can be extremely daunting; this is because of the need for experience. Even for entry-level roles, many employers would ask for relevant work experience from applicants (YOU), Which can be discouraging. That is why NexaScale is here for YOU. NexaScale is a social enterprise that focuses on providing individuals with the opportunity they need to start and scale their careers in the tech industry.
How are we solving this problem?
NexaScale is helping to solve this problem by providing the necessary tech opportunities needed for our members to develop and improve their professional abilities and get real-world experience. This is accomplished through organizing different programs and connecting them with hands-on projects, practical experiences and companies that will help them thrive in their chosen tech field. Our aim at NexaScale is to develop a community that encourages career growth among members.
Our Programs
Our programs are categorized into four main aspects. They include:
NexaScale Study Groups
Currently, there are seven study groups such as;
- Cloud Engineering
- Cybersecurity
- Backend Engineering
- Data Science
- Data Structures and Algorithms
- Frontend Engineering
- Mobile Engineering
The aim of these study groups is to allow community member’s to connect with each other, learn together, and build valuable networks as they keep working on projects together, while creating a safe space for each member. In the various study groups, workshop’s and regular office hours are organized to tackle technical issues and answer any technical questions member’s may have.
NexaScale Cloud Mentorship
With participation in our Cloud Mentoring program, mentees have the opportunity to be placed in internships and entry-level cloud roles, therefore gaining significant professional experience. Our program also provides mentees with the opportunity to participate in mock job interviews and get feedback on their resumes.
NexaScale Apprenticeship
With our apprenticeship program, individuals are connected with Organizations where they can get experience in tech while also contributing to real-world projects. Throughout their time in the apprenticeship program, participants have the opportunity to network with other professionals in their field.
Future Stem Stars
NexaScale is also committed to encouraging young girls to pursue professions in STEM fields. The Future STEM Stars program visits secondary schools in order to organize activities that encourage young girls to pursue professions in STEM fields. We also provide mentoring for young girls who are interested in pursuing careers in STEM, and we are building a network where high school students who are interested in STEM can interact with one another and learn from one another.
