The Squad, reality TV show originally followed eight girls: Bailey, Kalahn, Ceilia, Lily, Mandy, Rebecca, Margaret, and Lauren, as they live their life through middle school and entering high school.
Through the series, the cast changed drastically. Lauren left the show first, not returning after the pilot episode. Later in the first season, Rebecca and Margaret were switched to recurring characters.
Toward the middle of season one of The Squad, Ceilia left the show. That left Bailey, Kalahn, Lily, and Mandy.
Lily then left The Squad, leaving at the same time as Olivia (LIV LIFE) joined the show.
Mandy was not an active member of the show until the season one finale, in which she returned to the show.
The show entered season two with Bailey, Kalahn, Olivia, and Mandy.
After the season two premiere episode aired, Bailey left The Squad. Kalahn rushed to have her two friends, Elaina and Emma join.
Before Elaina and Emma even began the show, they left, with Kalahn leaving too. This left Olivia and Mandy. With only two characters remaining, Next Entertainment felt that it would make the most sense to have separate shows for Olivia and Mandy.
Olivia accepted the offer, with LIV LIFE premiering December 2016.
Mandy, on the other hand, declined the offer, citing that she does not have enough time to participate.
LIV LIFE premieres December 2016, and although The Squad has come to an end, Olivia’s show is introducing an all-new vibe to the Next Entertainment family, and fans can’t wait to see what she has to offer on her new hit show.
