The World You Live in is the Opposite of What You Think

When bureaucrats want to break the law, they don’t exploit loopholes, or legislate loopholes, they just rename the illegal thing they want to do as the opposite of what it is. We already live in a completely doublespeak society. As such, almost everyone believes the opposite of what’s true. So much so that explaining it to them wouldn’t work. They can’t make sense of it, because the doublespeak is all-encompassing, and every lie depends on all the other lies for us to keep functioning. We live in what’s been called an “inverted totalitarianism.”

The ideas populating our political sphere are a kind of monetary system we all must believe in for it to have currency. If you don’t believe in the dollar it collapses, and likewise, if you don’t believe in terrorism, the total lie that American culture is now centered around would collapse, and with it, our society as we know it.

We wage wars we call operations against soldiers we call enemy combatants who we torture with enhanced interrogation. We have security that actively makes us less secure both at home and abroad. Election interference by party committees is called “promoting a candidate,” targeted disruption is called surveillance, mercenaries are called informants, psy ops are called predictive policing, and the people we call cops are indistinguishable from armed soldiers.

The progressives have long chanted that US excursions in the Middle-East were mounted for the purpose of oil. That may originally have been true, but we’ve since completed a total shift. The reason we are still entangled in conflicts throughout Asia is for war itself. War is the object of war. War is the purpose of war. War is war.

Every decision you make is based on this new backwards world. Thus, your decisions are based on lies, the people you vote for are a lie, the companies you’re a client to are lying. They don’t need you and they don’t need your money, and as such, you have zero leverage over them. You are not in a relationship with them. They own you. And in this we see how essential servitude has been banally rebranded as commerce.

We live in a completely backwards, doublespeak world, we consented to it, and for the average reader, it’s still probably impossible to accept. We’re completely invested in it. We put a lot of mental effort, over the last 20 years, into absorbing and assimilating doublespeak into our vernacular, and our mental model of reality. Because all the lies rely on each other to stay standing, it’s not enough to point out one lie or even a hundred lies. It would cause our world to fold in on itself. We’re completely invested, financially, literally, as well as emotionally, into this wicked new reality constructed by the marketing semantics of bureaucrats who are well-paid by the industry of war and destruction.

Everything written here is the subtext to the cultural division which we now find tearing at the fabric of society. They are connected in ways you can barely fathom, but which are extremely tangible. I will write about that soon.
